Not able to search by LOMC in P3006 QBE. It work when we add '*' before the value we search for. Aga

Not able to search by LOMC in P3006 QBE. It work when we add '*' before the value we search for. Again we can't run R3007G using LOMC in Data selection. It required blank prefix to make the length to 12 to get required out put. Do we have any solution to this?

I can see LOMC and MCU share the same class in DD item except the display rule. Is it advisable to change the display rule to make both same? Is there any implication if we change the display rule for the DD item?
