Should deinstall -local prompt me to run a deconfig command on all nodes?

I'm trying to remove the GI home from a server so I can extend the cluster to it (again--it didn't go well the first time).  I ran deinstall -local, which prompted me to run deconfig commands on all nodes in the cluster.  Is this safe?  I really can't afford to have it deinstall GI from the other nodes
