Global Update -Change in useful life of assset

Hello All,

We are using JDE 8.11 SP1 Fixed Assets Module , we have scenario where we need to change useful life of assets ,can you please guide us using global update how it can be possible.

Example:-

Asset life 60 months

-Depreciation rate 15%

24 Months already closed i.e. 30% of amount depreciated

Now there is change in % of depreciation as per company law , it's 25% i.e. the asset must be charged off in 48 months , please guide us how we can carry this effect using global update.
