Memory needed to run EBS

We are using EBS 12.1.3

What is the memory needed to run EBS?

We have 32 G Physical Memory in the box, but right now the app side only has about 5G free memory left. I do see the message

tns-12535 operation timed out error in the alert log file now. Could these two things related to each other? Gurus, please advice.

I am trying to find the EBS installation documentation to see if there are memory requirement section in the installation guide. But couldn't find anything.
