Item Ledger (P4111)

A transfer was done into one of our warehouse, I can see the quantity on hand and the unit cost going in, but ont he same batch there is also an IB transaction for zero dollars.  It did not create a journal entry for the IB transaction but now the Item Ledger (4111) has a quantity of 1 with a zero dollar value.  Can I do a IB transaction leaving the quantity blank but putting the unit cost and extended cost in so the Item Ledger has a value for that item?  We use JDE World V9.2.1
