How can I base due date on ship date actual using AR_INVOICE_API_PUB?

I need to base the due date of an invoice on ship date actual.  Or I need to simulate the "Base Due Date on Trx Date = No" parameter from the auto invoice, using ar_invoice_api_pub.  Any ideas?
