While opening ADI worksheet getting error Microsoft Excel Stopped working

It is sporadic behavior. ADI sheet is created to upload a journal. Sometimes we are able to successfully upload the journal but sometimes you can't even open the same spreadsheet. We get error Microsoft Excel stopped working. Got a note from google search from Micorsoft website to open the spreadsheet in Safe mode then it opens fine wihtout the Oracle upload menu. You need to save the spreadsheet and then open again and the Oracle menu will appear on the top. But is there any permanent solution?
