Need to apply patch to the 11.2.0.3. RAC

Hi, I need to apply some listener security patch to the RDBMS and Grid home. Do I need to stop the CRS on both nodes or I can do one by one without any downtime? Readme.txt is not saying anything clearly. What is the recommended method?
