OracleTextSearch: GET_SEARCH_RESULTS returns wrong TotalDocsProcessed after applying Patch 12582138

Hello,

We are facing an issue with the OracleTextSearch. The GET_SEARCH_RESULTS Service of UCM fails to return Search Result when the StartRow parameter crosses the limit 2048. In this case the SearchEngineName has been set to OracleTextSearch. It works if we set the value of the SearchEngineName parameter to DATABASE.


We came to know that it is a known issue: Max Search Results Using ORACLETEXTSEARCH Limited to 2048 (Doc ID 1378347.1) and there has been a Patch released.


We have applied the specified patch in our development environment. Followings are the specification of the environment:

  • Database - 11.2.0.3.0
  • DB OS - IBM AIX on POWER System (64-bit)
