ABOUT monitoring, tablespace, logs, alert warning/error logs, so on

@DBA,

customer receive tablespace error, but it's resolved righ now, de doubt so that no happend again is following:

about error:
it display any pop up?
red row in JDE logs?
mail?


about evidences:
where are locate logs? so that, by reading it,  we notice tablespace was full

about monitoring:
how to set early alert?
how set monitor tablespace?
