Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Siebel Bi Publisher - Date format according to selected Report Locale

Hi,

We have Siebel with BI Publisher in 20+ countries with different Locales. Requirement is to get dates generated according to selected Report Locale.

Is it possible, having one report template get different date formats automatically e.g

selecting Report Locale = English - United States, date would be MM/DD/YYYY

selecting Report Locale = Finnish -Finland, date would be DD/MM/YYYY

or the only way is to create separate RTF template for each country and hardcode the expected date format(using xdoxslt:format_date function)?

I've tried to specify language in the XLIFF
