How to understand SIM batch processes. Any document available except OG? I dont have much informatio

I am currently Supporting SIM application and Batch Support. It is really hard to understand the SIM batch process. There is not much information in SIM Operation Guide. Any documents available for SIM batches, except OG? Also, any integration notes for SIM application and SIM batch process?
