MRP Parallel Processing

Hi

We are planning to implement MRP in parallel processing for one our clients. The data volume is very high and hence the regular MRP run is taking 4-5 hours in full regen mode. I would request those community members who have experience in running MRP in parallel mode to share their experiences both on functional and technical side.

Background

a). ~ 2 million item branch records

b). Consolidation in a single branch

c). Generation type is MRP with frozen MPS

d). generation mode - full regen (probably once a week)

Our initial testing in test environment was pretty encouraging. We just wanted to be sure we have all information arround this before we implement it.
