DB creation for 12000 users

Hi All, I've to create a 11gR2 (11204) database (OLTP) next month that will have 12,000 users connected out that 6500 will be active users. It will be a single instance DB. Can you please suggest some parameters (init.ora or kernel ) that need to be aware of at the time of DB creation? It will be on RHEL 6.1. At this time I don't know the server configuration, but suggestions are most welcome.
