How to configure warrenty creation baesd on condition

Hi,

We had business condition that

1. If replacement against out of warrenty item, then 13 months warrenty on replaced item.

2. If replacement against in warrenty then balance warrenty transfer against replaced item.

How to configure that.. Need guidance. ..

Where should we define when to create plan warrenty and when to create balance warrenty..

Need guidance. ..
