Identify what is needed to install Grid Infrastructure 12.1 latest

OTN downloads has Oracle Grid Infrastructure 12.1.0.2.

I'd like to have the latest and greatest GI before I move forward. There are 2 .zip files for this.

Also, MOS has patch 17694377, which says it's a complete install of 12.1.0.2.  I'm a little confused about which I should use, are they the same thing?

Then, I'd like to have every CPU and patchset that I can applied, having a little trouble in MOS identifying those. 

Even though in my mind I'm separating out GI from RDBMS installs it doesn't appear that way in MOS.
