Useful Linux packages missing in Exadata

Hello,

Oracle say everywhere that Exadata is ready to run in short time after shipping. Nothing of the kind.

Did you try to run dbca in vnc window ? It is impossible because it is no vncserver package in Exadata.

Did you try to ping listener port with telnet IP 1521 ? It is impossible because there is no telnet in Exadata.

Did you try to run some long process in screen and see it result the next day as you do it on other servers ? It is impossible because there is no screen package in Exadata.

Do you need to troubleshoot network issues and you want to listen packages on the network interfaces ? It is impossible because there is no tcpdump package in Exadata.
