Microsoft changes to IE and the effect on Siebel

We received a bulletin fro Microsoft last week that says:

The Internet Explorer product group announced last week that starting on September 9, 2014, Internet Explorer will begin to block out-of-date ActiveX controls. This behavior will be enabled as part of Microsoft’s ongoing commitment to deliver a more secure browser.

The new functionality to block out-of-date ActiveX controls will be installed as part of the Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer (MS14-051), released on August 12, 2014. Customers can manage the behavior of this new feature in their environments by leveraging existing manageability tools (e.g. group policy templates).

Does anybody know how this is going to impact Siebel v8.1.1.11 and what will need to be done to ensure continued usability for our users?

Howdy, Stranger!
