How to set s_ohs_instance/s_ohs_instance_loc value in R12.2 with shared apps Tiers File System?

We are running on R12.2 with multi-nodes and shared apps Tier File system.

We don't now how to set s_ohs_instance/s_ohs_instance_loc in current situation.

Does it should has individual value in each RUN base and PATCH base of every apps node?

Or  it can share same value with ALL RUN base and set different value on ALL PATCH base.

Or it can share same value with RUN and PATCH base with one apps node, and set to different value on RUN and PATCH base on another apps node?

Which setting is correct?
