Foundation Calendar (No CRM) - Action Plan

Hi to all

I would like to know if it is possible to use the action plan application only with foundation calendar, we dont have the CRM module

the application is P01401 , we are able to create and define the steps of the action plan, but I can't see what application to use to start an instance of the plan

Any help apreciated
