How to monitor bad packets

Hi,

I am new to securing Oracle databases.

I am investigating setting the initialisation parameter "SEC_PROTOCOL_ERROR_FURTHER_ACTION".

I have found a lot of documentation for this parameter, but I can't find any documentation about how to monitor the Oracle database regarding to bad packages.

Can anyone please tell me how I can monitor Oracle databases 11gR2 for specifically bad packets and security breaches?
