How does standard JDE E1 9.0/ tools 898.4.1.2 process state W-2 electronic files [EFW2] if a specifi

We have some confusion about how to process state W-2's electronically if a given state has more than one company each with a unique EIN.... (I understand some states have specific formatting requirements and there can be personalized IT efforts to get the file to the IRS/state authorities.)

•   Does JDE process one state flat file including all EINs? Example: one flat file starting with a RA record, then RE record followed by all of the employee records (RW/RO/RS) for that EIN, then RT/RU total record for that RE (EIN); then another RE record “grouping” (RE thru RU records) repeated until all EINs in that state are completed; followed by the RV State total record and ending with the RF end of file record.
