Error while updating IB instance

Hi All,

I HAVE TRIED TO CHANGE AN INSTALLATION ADDRESS IN INSTALLBASE AND GOT THIS ERROR MESSAGE as Error  ORA-01861: literal does not match format string in Package CSI_ITEM_INSTANCE_PVT Procedure UPDATE_ITEM_INSTANCE.

We are on 11i. What could be cause of this and remedy for this?
