Changing Porcessing Option Flag to an Application (P51006)

Hello,
I want to change an option in the Processing Options to a version of Application P51006 (Job Cost Master Revisions), fyi the 'Prompting' on the Application is set as 'Blind Execution'.

So I go into OMW, create a Project, get the Version of the P51006 Application but I can't check the version out.

However, if I change the Processing Option flag to this version it updates as thought it's been checked out, processing option changed and checked back in.

Is this how OMW should work for updating Processing Options of Application P51006?
