Intracompany Rules change from Default Clearing Company to Many to Many

Hi, 

We are in process of upgradation from 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.3

In 11i, intracompany options selected as "Always use Clearing Company" and "Default company" has been provided

When upgraded to R12, the same upgraded as it is and rules created at No Legal Entity level

Now the Client requirement is to change rule from Default Clearing Company to Many to Many

Can we do this change directly in Intracompany Rules? 

Is there any impact to existing data which is upgraded from 11i ? 

Can anyone help on this
