DB Sabotage - intentional files deleted

edited Aug 26, 2014 6:35PM in Database Backup and Recovery (MOSC) 5 commentsAnswered

Oracle Enterprise 11.2 on Windows 64bit 2008 R2

In production, someone deleted all files for: rman backup sets, all fast_recover_area files, and spfile

We do have two dump files, but the most recent file (from last week) is corrupt. The good dump file is from March 2014, which means too much data loss.

We do appear to have all main DB datafiles, redo logs, and a control file (all under oradata\{sid}). All of these files have been copied to a test server and the production server has been given to the police.

I need help in planning on how this can be restored enough to start the DB and take an export of the data.

Howdy, Stranger!
