Sourcing rule split for buy item not working as expected

Hi Gurus,

I need to understand how sourcing rule splitting works in case of multiple sources while ASCP planning recommendation.

I have an item which is sourced from 2 suppliers both 50%. One is ranked 1 and another ranked 2. The plann order are created only for rank 1 supplier. Need to understand what setups/profiles control the splitting up or NOT splitting up.

Any feedback will be really appreciated.
