How to stop new shipment number from being generated in E1 9.1 environment...

Dear All,

May I know the process that needs to be followed to stop new shipment number from being generated in spite of changing below mentioned fields?


CARS Carrier

MOT Mode of Transportation

FRTH Freight Handling Code

MCU Branch

SHAN Ship To

RSDJ Promised Delivery Date

PPDJ Promised Ship Date

DRQJ Requested Date (1)

As per the business requirement, we would like to maintain shipment number unchanged from order creation till Sales Update.

Your insight on this would be highly appreciated.
