Enter timecard but do not want to transfer to GL

Our department would like to have each employee enter a time card into Oracle but not transfer or affect the GL. Have created indirect project and tasks to be used for time tracking purposes only.

Is there a way to use the timecard functionality without having it go to the GL for any financial reporting towards the Income Statement / Balance Sheet?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
