Transaction Summaries Net Value versus Item Cost Details Extended Value

Hi,

   I would like to know what is the difference between transaction summaries net value column and item cost details extended value column.

   Kindly explain briefly the purpose of each columns. Correct me if im wrong, the item cost details extended value is the value of the remaining items times the unit cost of an item.

   But how about the net value of the transaction summaries?
