Asset Sync Service availability

Hi Gurus,

I am reaching out to everyone in an attempt to uinderstand if someone has implemented any out of the box or custom service to enable real-time Asset sync for customizable products including Bundled Promotions and what was the high level design pattern used.

We have a requirement where-in while Siebel stores the Assets along with multiple systems that are responsible for placing an order. For a MACD order the intent is that when user clicks on Modify or Disconnect button an asset sync with another system should happen. The external system is the master and would be reposible for sharing the exact state of an asset which should be sync'ed to Siebel before an Order can be started. Has anybody done this earlier and is there a web service available which will just act on the asset and align its components without even
