How to retire an asset with negative units

Hello,

We have CIP assets created from credit memo directly with negative amount and negative units.

We are trying to retire them, but we get an error message: "FRM-40207: Must be in range 1 to .... "

Would you know if it is possible to retire it in a way?

I tried to transfer the source lines to another asset corresponding to the inital invoice, but only the amount has been updated, and the units remained negative.
