Ability to setup an expense account as Asset Clearing account in Asset Categories

As per the note the following note, there is a Patch 11809111:R12.FA.B that provides the capability to use an Income Statement account as an asset clearing account (Asset Category setup). However I am unable to locate this patch. Can anyone provide an insight into this?
