Multiple attachments in a single mail using XML bursting

Hi,

I am trying to implement XML bursting to send multiple attachments in the same mail. However I am not able to achieve this. The template types for both the attachments is RTF and the output type is PDF for one attachment and excel for the other. Could you please advise me on how this can be achieved.
