Data input at upper level of Period

Hi All,

Just wanted to confirm this with you all -- In Hyperion Planning if I put all members of Period dimension in columns I should be able to input data at upper level of period. This is regardless of Grid spread/ Mass allocate option ..

Is my understanding correct ?
