ASCP not recommending timely planned orders for demand at hand!

Hi Experts,

We are encountering an issue where the ASCP workbench is not recommending planned order for the current demand. The recommended planned orders are with very late suggested due date which leads to shortage of stock. The horizontal plan on the other hand shows demand in current period (Aug, Sep, Oct). The planned order is in Nov.

In the horizontal plan there is a row called dependent demand which I guess should be for a component of a finished good. This item itself is a FG, so not sure how can it have a dependent demand. Please help to understand.
