Not able to restore to previous incarnation in 12c?

Hello Experts/ Gurus,

I found myself in a very strange situation. I am testing restore/recovery scenarios for 12c dataabse.

I restored my older control file from the backup. I checked the incarnation.

Then I ran rman script to recover it back Point in Time. It failed with error saying

"  RMAN-20207: UNTIL TIME or RECOVERY WINDOW is before RESETLOGS time ".

Then I again checked incarnation. To my surprise, the output listed all the incarnations history happened so far with the database.

I am not having Recovery Catalog configured. I restored an older control file which did not have all this incarnation information. I tried restore script and then
