Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. How to delete all data on ASM disks? - Community - how do you do this?

Hi

We have borrowed an ODA v1 for a couple of months and are now soon ready to deliver it back.

But since our databases includes a lot of sensitive data, we would like to delete all data on the ASM disks.

Is there a simple way to overwrite all data or initialize the disks ?
