How can we get the EXA field to populate when in the Journal Revision Screen for Z files processing

Currently when we try to fix a batch it then updates the EXA field on all the lines to be the same as the header when in fact we want it to keep what we had loaded. How do we get the detail lines to keep their information instead of being overwritten by the header explanation
