Siebel - Multiple Tabs in Single Session

Siebel Version: 8.1.1.11


ISSUE:

Client wants to open Multiple Browser tabs in a Single Siebel session. The earlier system was a website built from scratch where they were able to right-click and "Open in a new window" (like we do from Google Search links). They want to replicate the same behavior.

They have already contacted Oracle support and they said it is not possible as of the latest Siebel release. But, the business seems to be persistent on getting this feature.

EXAMPLE:

There are many examples they gave. Here is one of them.

  • While on call with the Customer, User is on a Customer page and there are 5 Listings (like Craiglist listing) under it.
