Order Import Performance is Down after upgrade from 11.5.10.2 to R 12.2.3

We recently upgraded our 11i (11.5.10.2) to R12.2.3. We have been using Sabrix as our tax system. After upgrade, we are experiencing a huge performance issue in our Standard Order Import process.

Our DBA found out that the order import process inserts millions of records into ZX_LINES_DET_FACTORS table and purges. This is causing the bottle neck in the order import process. We take the credit card as payment method in our commerce site and import the orders into oracle. we have tax calculation at Booking event, as we Authorize the cards before picking and shipping. We can not defer the tax calculation till invoicing as it will not give accurate amount payment authorization before shipping.
