Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Usage of XLA_MO_REPORTING_API.INITIALIZE

Most reports in AR and GL are using xla_mo_reporting_api.initialize.

Can someone explain, why this is used.

Code beneath it is only assigning a variable.
