Making payslip output password protected

Hi All, we have a requirement from client (as part of a new 9.1 implementation) that requires payslips getting generated out of JDE to be password protected. The Customer will be using Self Service and BI Publisher Emailed/Printed Payslips. They currently use PDF-Explode to do this in their existing process.

Any help in this matter would be much appreciated. Thank you.
