Linking to a Dashboard (filter by a Presentation Variable)

When using a Web Link to transfer from a report in one dashboard to another dashboard, can you pass the value the user enters in a prompt associated with a Presentation variable and filter by that value?  

When I use "Navigate" Value Interaction within the Column Format tab, the called report retains my Presentation Variable values.  But,when I use a Web Link, it appears that the value within the Presentation Variable is not recognized.

My report is a combined analysis, so I can't use the Value Interaction option.   Plus, in this case, I need to link to a dashbaord, not just one report.
