Is there any documentation of revising the Chart of Accounts?

Our company currently has four facilities with a fifth to come online within the year but currently we only have two basic Business Units. The Financial Team is wanting to provide for better accounting for each of the facilities and allow for any further expansion or acquisitions.

I am looking for documentation or discussions regarding revising an existing JD Edwards Chart of Accounts to better permit the impending growth and reporting. I would appreciate any feedback or private discussions to assist in my search.
