Customer Tax Registration update error.

Hello All,

When I going to update the tax registration number for customer in accounts receivable I found the following error. What needs to be do to update the tax registration number? 

Error : ''This tax registration is alrady in use for party type: Third Party and Party Name:XXXX for the same period''

Can any one help me on this?
