rapid install Could not find disk.label under EBSInstallMedia/Apps/Disk1

To date I have the following.

I have created StageR12 and unzipped all the media disks into StageR12 as per directions

[root@erieoracle d01]# ls

  StageR12 

[root@erieoracle d01]# cd StageR12

[root@erieoracle StageR12]# ls

Documents  oraAppDB  oraApps  oraAS  oraDB  patches  README.txt  startCD

Question

I am running the startCD/Disk1/rapidwiz/rapidwiz from the StageR12 directory

first screen

asks for stagearea appears to be missing or incomplete

from my understanding when I unzipped all the media files into StageR12 I created the stage area

Could not find disk.label under EBSInstallMedia/Apps/Disk1
   I see the above so it appears that I have missed something.
