OEM not sending alerts for "Generic Alert Log Error" metric

Hi,

We are using OEM 12c for monitoring and generating alerts for the corporate databases. We have changed the "Generic Alert Log Error" metric to capture all ORA errors logged on alert log. However we are not getting any alerts after changing to new value.

Can anyone help us to find the issue?

path:

Enterprise -> Monitoring -> Monitoring Templates  ->   View Monitoring Template: <template name> -> Metric Thresholds

Metric:Generic Alert Log Error

Comparison Operator: Matches

Warning Threshold: .*ORA-.*

Critical Threshold: n/a

Corrective Actions: None

Collection Schedule: n/a
