12c patching vs 10g Jobs functionality

I am working with a customer running on 10g OEM and planning on implementing 12c.  Within 12c, the patching method changed and the customer is using the patching method via the Jobs functionality.  The customer is asking if Oracle could include the Jobs method and let the users decide on which method to use.  Is there a way to use the Jobs functionality in 12c or would this be an enhancement request.

Is there any other customers who have had issues when using the Jobs functionality in 10g after moving to 12c and the new patching functionality?
