Oracle Enterprise Linux 6 on HyperV

We are running an OEL 6 linux on hyperV, with weblogic 10.3.6 and forms and reports 11.1.2.2, we are running the red hat compatible kernel 2.6.32-431.23.3 with Microsoft LIS 3.4.

If we try and increase the number of virtual processors to anything greater than 1 performance takes a nosedive. The system takes minutes to boot, the forms application login is 2 - 3 minutes.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour ? And is there a fix ?

Hyperv is on a windows 2012 3 node failover cluster.
